ok from searching and looking through the threads, i see that i should try and get the car for the invoice price or a little above. my question is do i take the invoice price then add the factory options to it and thats what i should pay? or are the options negotiable? at one dealership they had the "dealer installed" options that included this ugly pinstriping, paint sealant and interior protectant. is there anyway i can tell them i dont want to pay for the dealer options? the total for the dealer option for those 3 things was around 850 dollars. im looking at a base or an enthusiast. btw there's only 2 nissan dealers in town, will this affect my chances of getting a deal? thanks in advance.

Usually you take the price of the invoice, add all the options you want, then talk it down back to the original price of the invoice. That would be ok.

 

options carry "invoice" prices as well.
