I am considering purchasing a 2005 350z touring from a local dealer. Its in good stock condition with newer tires. It has 22k mi and the price is $21k. From looking at the local listings this seems like a good price, but would like to know what you guys think considering you all were likely in the same situation at some point and probabaly know how much your car is worth. Let me know what you think.

I would say yes, but atleast give them a low offer, try for 20K out the door and see what kind of wiggle room they are willing to give up.

and go on a shitty day when no one is there, like when its snowing or raining. If they havent sold any cars that day then they will want to make a sale

 

I would also grab it, but make a lower offer like even 19k start there and look for 20k. Also you have another week or so before you can really push the offer. My wife just bought a 04 Maxima SE full loaded all options 40k, the dealer wanted 22k she offer 18k. We went in a week before the end of the month, even walk out twice and finally the dealer came back with it $18,200.
But be prepared to play the waiting game they came back three times with offers over the 18,2K. But just kept coming down. Good luck on the purchase.

 

21k is a good price...you wont get much lower

I am not certain. I have been driving a rx-8 for the longest time and just looking for something new and I love the looks of the Z. I have narrowed it to 2 choices in my area:

2005 black touring 22k mi $21k
2006 blue grand touring 37k mi $23.4k certified pre-owned

I like the blue one better but more expensive and more miles.

That's a good price. I got my 05 PPW Touring with 19K for 23 OTD. I'm in socal so I don't know how the market is from your place.
