Default 2008 350Z Enthusiast + nismo... pricing?

I want to get an 08 350Z Enthusiast. I would like to get the following configuration:
350Z Enthusiast 30,445 MSRP
Nismo options:
Cat-Back Exhaust 1,200 MSRP
18" Forged Wheels 2,300 MSRP

Total 33,320 MSRP

According to Cars Direct, I can get the enthusiast for $28,154.

Question 1
The nismo options are what I am not too sure of. Does that MSRP price include installation since I will be purchasing it with the car? Does the wheels come with tires? Basically, how much can I get such parts on the car ready to hit pavement?

Question 2
With options the price is getting up there, and I could get a lot more for a slight increase in price if I were just to buy a nismo Z. However, I really do not like the body kit on the nismo z. Would the dealership be willing to sell a nismo z without body kit? Think they will reduce price?

I'm not really sure man but if I were you I would wait on getting the nismo parts depending on how you are going to go about paying for the car. If you are financing it, then you are in a way paying out interest on the exhaust and wheels since they are added to the final price of the car, at least thats how Id see it.

I'd get the car without the exhaust and wheels to start with and then later on buy the goodies.

As for the nismo Z, I'm sure if the price is right they'd be willing to swap body pannels, or try to get you to buy regular ones.

Cost of NISMO add-ons does not include installation.
Wheels do not include tires.
Will Nissan sell you a NISMO kit so that you can build a NISMO 350Z? No.

Personally, I would just rather get the Touring edition than get an Enthusiast and buy a NISMO Cat-Back exhaust that really doesn't get you that much of a power gain for $1200 and 18" Forged wheels that isn't worth the sacrifice of leather.

Thanks for all your responses guys.

I plan on financing probably about half of the cost. Between interest, savings from forum purchase, and the fact that it wouldn't include install and tires it now doesn't make much sense to purchase from dealership.

Davidv,
I wouldn't ask for "NISMO kit so that you can build a NISMO 350Z". Instead I would try to get them to take a NISMO Z remove the body kit, and sell the NISMO Z with stock panels. I like everything else about the nismo z but the body kit. They can probably just swap over from a base 350Z, there might be someone out there that wants base 350Z with nismo body kit. It is probably a stretch, but I really want the brembos + nismo parts without cosmetics/luxuries. (although I do like nismo interior)

Not so big on touring. It would be nice to have but not looking to spend much on cosmetics/luxury. I am planning to turn a 350Z into track race and drag race beast. I currently own a Nissan Sentra SER Specv with many mods (75 shot Nitrous, intake, header, exhaust, cams, SAFC2, entire nismo suspension, motor mount inserts, torque damper, balance shafts removed, crank pulley, the list goes on......)

I have pretty much maxed out the potential for my car and now I am looking for a beefer track race and drag race car. I have ran a 13.3 quarter mile and it is suppose to do .96g on the skid pad (according to SCC road tests with my suspension setup). I am basically trying to build a car that will out do that.

I know exhaust doesn't give you much gains, but I plan on swapping my nitrous kit over to the Z. With that in mind your cars ability to breathe (intake and full exhaust) is pretty high priority (although not required, just better)

I know!!! Thats why I assumed that it came with the tires as well. I also figured that I would just take the OEM un-used wheels and sell online to recover some of the costs. But it is just not worth it if that price doesn't include tires. BTW, those MSRP prices are straight off of "build your own Z" on nissans webpage
