Default 08 350z base model...

I'm pretty close to buying the Z I want. 2008 350z base model. I was thinking when I do go to make the purchase, I will offer them a low number like around 24k otd just to see what they say, and hope I get lucky. Whats a reasonable otd price(tax is 8% here)(including tax, title, etc.)? And should I wait til the 370z comes out to see if I can get them to lower the price or just buy it now (if you guys dont think they will lower it much? Thanx for any help.

I don't think the 350z price will go down much if at all due to the 370z release, it's already kind of bottomed out. bases are going for 25k+ TTL on a normal basis so your offer is not insulting.

Cholo, offer less and be patient. The market for these vehicles has not
shown a ton of weakness yet. If you can wait, there are far better deals
to be had shortly. Ton of surplus right now.

The first step is a decision. Do you want a 350Z or 370Z? That's your decision. Pricing is secondary.

I do know which I want, the 350z, what I meant was that once the 370z comes out do you think that I could get the 350z base model even cheaper than it is right now...sorry for not clarifying

Once the dealer has the 370Z on the lot he may be more apt to discount the 350Z. Of course the 350Z may be gone by then.

What we know for certain is that the 350Z is available now, and the seller is ready to deal.
