they will not change price because you found someone on a forum that (claims) they paid lower. I have seen base models as low as 21k on extreme cases, I have seen enthusiasts at 23-25k, I could see touring going for 26-27..
tough scenario mang. your best bet is to do searchs on autotrader and the likes for cars within 1000 miles.. try to find a cheaper listed 08 touring. if you cant find one listed cheaper, start sending out low ball offers to everyone or asking for their best price, so you have something to negotiate with.
even after that, some dealers will not be willing to budge, they are dead set on their prices.

I'd say at least $2,500 below invoice. Nisaan has a $2,500 rebate on '08s which expires March 2 according to www.edmunds.com .

Get on ebay. Expand your search. Do not limit yourself to a geographic
area. There is a very strong 2008 enthus w 4000 miles in Jacksonville,
clear title - which I believe could be had for $20k otd. You would be
responsible for local taxes....

If you can wait...
The 08 model prices are dropping with each passing week. As Nissan approaches the second quarter of 2009, the sales figures will be much worse. Additionally, as this continues Nissan will not be able to help dealership's much at all.
So, what does that mean? The dealership themselves will have to take drastic measures, to a degree. Deal or lose, in terms of your business as a whole (worse case scenario). In this current economic climate, dealerships aren't able to help one another out by taking their stock as a trade with another dealership. Also, you can't give it back to the manufacturing plant.
Which means that deals are to be had. Be flexible in your approach. Don't limit yourself to a specific region. When I first bought my first Z in 2003, I used the inventory sheet from a Kentucky dealer to purchase one in Vacaville, CA while I was stationed at Travis AFB.
There are different methods and plenty of deals to be had.
