Definitely possible. I bought my 2005 base model for 12,000 flat from a private owner. Sweet deal... it had 78000k on it though, but didn't bother me much b/c it was all stock. I am sure you'll find one but you'll have to keep a sharp eye.

Absolutely. There are some Z's out there in really messed up condition, with higher mileage for your price range. Good luck!

If you're willing to settle for a "messed up condition" car, it would be far less than 12K. You can find a pretty much a flawless car with higher mileage for 12 these days.

Maybe you could get a Porsche GT3 RSR for that price range.

GL with your hunt, but is very very possible try yahoo.com on used cars too.

I bout my 05 with ZR with 20,000 miles for about 18K. Damn good condition. Just some minor issues, all in all about $200.00 worth or stuff.

I sell you a 94 300zx with low mileage for a decent price. Needs some work though Just some....

A friend of mine found a guy that wanted to sell his Z as soon as possible. The seller couldnt find anyone in almost 25 days so my friend ended up showing up with 10,000 dollars in cash and showed him the money right there.

He went home with an '05 base, 31k miles and the yellow color in mint condition... for only 10k

You just have to look real good out there, and learn to hassle with private sellers, you can end up with a really good deal.

It's definitely possible - just picked up a 2004.5, Touring, 6-spd, 59K for $12,250 (from a big name dealer too!!) Look around and you'll eventually find what you're looking for... Good luck with your search!

You should be able to, but with high mileage. I checked how much my 05 would cost with 7K miles at carmax and they offered 13k. Yeah right...
