Default Which Z is for me

I just read through the sticky thread and searched a little about the different model z's.

I basically want the below options and still havent figured out which model is best for it.

Bose Sound System
Heated Leather Seats
Navigation
LSD Rear

The LSD Rear would be the last thing on the list that I want if it isnt included in a package with the rest.

thanks for your help

First off, welcome! May your stay here be pleasant and fruitful! Sounds like you probably want a Touring Z. I believe that model has the best chance of having the majority, if not all, of the features you want.

BTW, I'm not a mod or even anyone important. I'm just a guy who loves his 350Z, but I will tell you this from my limited experience...if you read the sticky and did a search and you're still willing to post a "what kind of Z do I want" thread, you must have some very thick skin(which you will need around here) or you're a glutton for punishment(which you may be). My guess is the replies will be about 50% "you should get this model" and 50% "Seriously? Why are you asking US which car YOU should buy?". My advice would be to do some more research. Good luck!

Whatever you do dont get Grand touring. Its a waste of money for some ridiculously overpriced pieces of trim and accessories. If not for the LSD rear I would deffinately say grab a used base model Enth. and pay for the mods yourself. The heated seats take forever to warm up so might as well just let the car run with full heat on your body will warm your toosh up enough.

The GT's are more rare than any other model (especially with 06+) so they will hold value better over time. Look at the going prices. For instance 06's with under 30k miles. This is not kbb but actual private sales.

Base 16k-17k

Enthusiast 17,5

Track 18k

Touring 19k

Grand Touring 20k.

For those "factory" options its basically a Touring model with Nav. Done and done. if you want GT model then sure, knock yourself out as it will have those features as well.

The Z comes with a VLSD - which uses viscous fluid to work as an LSD, not aggressive at all. Its in every model other than a base.

That should answer all your questions posted.

NOW, if your mod friendly -
- After market seat warmers can easily be installed

- There are multiple threads of people adding touch screen NAV to factory cubby location for cheap - https://my350z.com/forum/audio-and-v...ion-setup.html

- Tons of aftermarket LSD options - Quaiffe being a quiet one.

- Of course tons of audio builds better than the factory Bose.

thanks guys. Im actually very mod friendly. Im coming from a dsm background so I am pretty familiar with alot of things such as power goals, mods, etc.

Im actually surprised I didnt get flamed for not searching. It sounds as if the touring model is best for me.
Its not that your picking my car, I just want these options as a base platform to work with.
