Default Thinking of buying this 2008 350z Touring..Thoughts?

I'm in the market for a 350z, I don't really have a budget, just looking for used and a good deal, as in decently below any book value

The guy's ad was asking $19k, I think he'll go to about $18-18.5k

http://nh.craigslist.org/cto/2862094756.html

"Price Reduced**. Way under Blue Book. Great for summer. Fun car to drive. 2008 Pearl White 350z AUTO tiptronic transmission, Black Leather interior with orange stitching, HID headlights, Heated Seats, Bose 6 disk cd changer mp3, Bluetooth handsfree, Fully loaded. All power options. 54,000 miles. Still under Nissan powertrain warranty until 60k. Clean Carfax. Don't want to sell the car, but a need came up for a car with more than 2 seats so I have to get a 4 door sedan instead."

How do you know he will go down in price? Maybe that's what he owes? Have you driven a 6MT or are you looking for AT only? Existing warranty is hardly existing with only a few K miles left.

Test drive, take for an inspection, and make an offer if you like it.

I've been chatting with the owner about how negotiable he is with the price, as the car is about 2 hours away from me, he said he's willing to go in the $18-18.5k range

Honestly, I can drive MT, but I prefer AT, just too much stop and go traffic where I live

Understandable about the AT, I enjoy the driving experience with 6MT myself. Your call, is there a carfax available? Leins on the vehicle?

Yay! An AT. If he won't let it go for $17,000. Ask for like $18,000. If he ain't budging than it's your call if you want to buy it for $18k+ or not. Looks nice though. If it was $16k like the one I'm looking at right now, I'd be all over it. LOL

Good luck though!

Did you offer $17,099 as I suggested? Did the seller accept your offer?
