Default Is this a good deal?

Whats up everyone, this is my first post here so it's nice to meet you all!
I've been in the market for a Z for the past few weeks and with the help of this forum I've narrowed my search to the 07-08 coupe. In terms of prices it seems like the prices of Z's in the Bay Area are a little inflated compared to the rest of the country because I'm having trouble finding anything less than 20K for an 07/08 in my area (with the exception of one base 07 that smelled like smoke). I found this car posted on ebay last night, its a few hours away from me but it looks like the exact car I want...I was just hoping to get your guys' opinions, Im guessing it's a little overpriced? What do you guys think?!? Thanks!

It does look expensive but the miles are good. I'm not a fan of automatic sports cars though. Each to their own I guess. Not that bad of a deal but I would never pay more than 20k for a 5 year old car.

That's about what I paid for my 07 z 2 years ago with similar mileage. That was the out the door price, so assume you might incur dealer charges and taxes on top of that price. I am not a fan of automatics, but if you can't drive stick it is understandable. My Z is a base, but I planned on modding it, and didn't care for cruise control and was going to replace the steering wheel anyways, so base was my best option. The low mileage is pretty nice. Think I would get this one if you want a Z.

Oh one more thing. It probably hasn't been modded with turbo or supercharger being an auto.

Hell,buy the car!
You KNOW you want it.
Even if its a few k over market, who cares.
Over the long haul, whats it gonna cost you?
About 25 cents a day more because the price is higher?
If you like a AT car, thats OK.Don't listen to the guys that
say its got to have 6MT or its useless.
Positives are the low miles, looks all stock..great color.
When are you gonna pick it up?
Post some pics!

+1 My 08 was like 3 grand out of my price range but i still got it and since having it i have no remorse love the car best car i have had. Go with what you think and feel about the deal and car your the one that's going to have to pay for it and drive it. Best of luck with your choice.

Seems like a typical dealer price. But it is very low miles. I recently bought mine in the Bay Area too. If you want to put it into perspective here's my buy:

Year: 2003
Trim: Track 6MT
Miles: 40,000
Price: $16k

I guess if you factor in year vs year. Miles vs miles. That's where that extra $4k comes in. Good luck on your decision.

Out here where the Z's are seasonal you can find better deals.
Your prices will be higher, but you get to enjoy them year round.
Here is a nice one close to yours.

We dont know anything about you. if youre under, say 40, you should dive a manual sports car. if youre a car guy, you should have a manual. if your friends are car guys, you should have a manual. if your girlfriend is hot, she knows, you should have a manual.
on a used 350z the auto is much less desirable, so deduct 3k$. some will list them at the same price as the 6speeds in hope of an ignorant buyer.
and i fully disagree with Jcity. wait for the perfect car or you will regret it every time you see it. pay that few K$ on the right car. hell, i paid 2k extra not to have a door dent and scratches in my clear and it was the best decision i ever made!
