HMM.... normal or not
I had clear bra on top of my mirrior but i decided to take it off because it didnt look good (probably bad install on the mirror). Anyways decided today to wax the mirrors cause they looked little hazzy and the cloth turned RED. So i did a test and waxed the bottom of the mirror (which never had a clear bra) and the cloth turned a little red but not very
so is it normal for the cloth to turn red after applying wax to the mirrors or was my clearcoat removed when taking off the clearbra?

Another thought is the clear could be gone and you are down to the color coat which is not good.
Just as a frame of reference before waxing a hazy surface, the surface should be polished so that it isn't hazy. Waxes are good sealants but aren't going to correct a hazy paint surface.

Just because there is clearcoat does not mean the paint isn't oxidized. It is very possible for this too happen, I've dealt with it on several cars, mostly cars which aren't waxed frequently or cars which are kept outdoors 24/7.
still happening. i used the 3m paint cleaner thing (gets rid of oxidation and supposely swirls) and the applicator pad still turns red (color of my car btw) when applying it and taking it off.......... sure this isnt normal on the exterior mirriors? thats only place it happens
