Default Applying Touch up paint?

I'm not sure if this should go in the Repair section or the Detailing section, but here's my question.

Does anyone have experience using the touch up paint pen?

The product

I'd like to see if there are any proper techniques of using this thing.

Forget the pen. Try the bottle. I use Pikes Peak White touch-up paint from Nissan:

1. Clean the area with Isopropyl alcohol.
2. Apply a base coat of white enamel appliance touch-up paint.
3. After drying, apply a coat of Nissan touch-up paint.
4. After drying, apply a coat of wax.

The match is not perfect, but acceptable.

I use the bottle and brush chip for the bigger chips. For smaller chips I use a toothpick. You should give that a try. It works wonders.

The chips that I’m touching-up are about the same size as the head of a pin. I skip clearcoat.
