These damn armoral wipes just aren't doing the trick. They leave blotches.

You got that right!

I use Clear Vision from properautocare.com. It doesn't streak like so many other glass cleaners. It smells like alcohol, but I guess it has some kind of cleaner in it. I also have there microfiber glass towels. Those things are great! Check out Clear Vision for their glass cleaning kit.

On a regular basis, I'll just use a microfiber cloth, wet it, wring it out, and wipe - that's it. Glass look like new. I do have a bottle of the Clear Vision but haven't found the need to use it yet

For me, th art of window cleaning has been by far the hardest task for me, till lateley. I found the best is to, yes, use Armorol window whipes. Here is what I do. When I first tried these, they would automatically haze over when I applied them. I got to thinking, and after about 10-30 seconds after applying, I took a cotten towel and whipe the rest off. My windows look AMAZING!!. I would posta pic, but Cardomain.com is bieng very stupid.

Armor All wipes and I just don't get along. I figure I would save some time cleaning the windows by buying these things. Just wipe and go. Right? Nope, don't work that way!

Thanks for the advice, but I refuse to use a towel with a product that is advertised as wipe and go.

Hey, at least you don't have little white paper towel fuzzys everywhere. This whipe still eliminates having to buy a bottle. It is commen knowledge (at least I thought) that you need a dryingtowel after cleaning windows. I have never used a whipe that hasn't left some streaking or blotching. Besides, this is the best my windws have EVER looked. Oh well, I tried.

I personally use Stoner's Invisible Glass and some newspapers. Works beautifully.

I'll second the Stoner's Invisible Glass and Newspaper. Make sure the newspaper is black ink only, no color. The blank ink acts as a superfine polish. Color ink is a different composition and can lead to less that perfect results. Just spray on the cleaner and wipe/buff with crumpled newspaper. Gives the best results of the many product/technique combinations I have tried.

I second FlaPhil,

Clear vision is great! I also like stoner's but I got tired of the little spots it left in the paint. However, clear vision also doesn't leave any streaks in the glass like other glass cleaners I've used in the past.

That's even better than the one I was gonna use. I was simply going to write: GLASS!

Anyway, believe it or not, I use Zaino Z-6. It works great and not only does it shine like all hell, it also makes the raindrops ZIP right off of the glass at highway speeds.

Before I Zaino'd my car the first time, I used Zaino Glass Polish on all windows, inside & out. Since then, I put Zaino coats on the external glass just like it was paint, Z5, Z2, Z6. When I'm done Z6'ing the exterior, I use the Z6 cloths to go over the interior glass without adding any more Z6.

It works great, shiny glass (looks just like glass! ) and no streaks. The Zaino (unlike most waxes) doesn't look bad on the rubber around the glass (shines it, too!) and I also don't have to worry about glass cleaner messing up my interior vinyl or my paint finish!

I do have one complaint about the Zaino Glass Polish - it's the only Zaino product I've used that left an ugly residue on surrounding plastic. I still have milky smudges on the interior plastic around my windows.
