I can't comment on how it compares but, I have been using it for a long time and I love it. It is cheaper price-wise and it can be purchased at *most* auto parts stores.

Here is my SB Z with a couple of coats of NXT. Looks great and is easy to appy and buff out. It lasts about 3 months.

It's the only wax I've used on my Z and I have no complaints at all.

I use the NXT and love it. I also use the Quik Detailer wipe and shine in between wax jobs and it seems to keep the wax fresh.

Was a zaino user for a year or so, till i got fed up of the pain-staking process & the numerous different z7, z6, z.....^n. I also had a weird problem where i had to use immense pressure to take the wax off once it dried, which actually led to me putting fine scratches all over my Z.

I get similar results with nxt tech wax, plus its real easy to apply & remove. i also have the nxt quik detailer at hand and that keeps my car sparkling.
i don't know if it would last 3 months, but i wax my car every 6 weeks or so.

+1, it's the only thing I've used on my Z. It would be hard to give my opinion on Zaino. I got frustrated trying to figure out all the different steps. A friend of mine uses Zaino, just not all the steps, and doesn't have any complaints. I have a process I use of Meguires products and have been very satisfied. #83, 80, 82, 81, then two layers of NXT 24 hours apart. Got alot of help from:

http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/index.php?

The forums are great and everyone is very helpful.

I love it! Easy on, easy off, no white powder, long lasting. Just let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes, to bond, before removing.

Chebosto! Dude.. not sure why you did not PM me this question.. since I am sponsored by Meguiars

The NXT line is a great product, I can personally attest to it. I wont say anything bad about any of the other products that are out there.. each has its own merrits, even those really expensive ones. I think bang for the buck its one of the best values out there. Its easy to apply and remove, gives a nice DEEP color, and enough gloss (no too much)

We've had several detail days out here on the east coast, an I highly recomend anyone in the NOVA area making it out to them.

You'll find these links interesting:

1st Mid-A detail day:

2nd Mid-A detail day:

Any specific Q's you may have feel free to post them or PM them .. this goes for everyone

I swear by meguiars. I've used all of their stuff on all of my cars and must say I'm glad they put out the NXT line. Extremely easy to apply and take off and the shine is to die for. Give it a try and you will see what everybody else is talking about. Try the three step process 1. Paint cleaner 2. Polish 3. Wax

Thumbs up Mcguairs is awesome

I have only used NXT on both of my cars. I use all the mequiars NXT products including, clay bar, paint cleaner, deep crystal polish, paste wax, and my favorite NXT Speed Detailer. I wax once a month, but use Speed Detailer weekly, it's awesome and I can do one car in about 20 minutes with Speed Detailer, which helps keep the shine and protect between waxes. All Mcguiars NXT products are very easy to put on and take off, and they all definitely smell great. I also have a porter cable polisher or I think Mcguiars has their branded version of the called the G100 polisher). I have been to the detail days, and they are really good, they will tell you how to use the product and even give you free samples and food. I tried Zymol and a couple of other brands, but they were very difficult to apply and remove. Zymol actually was so chalky and powdery when I removed it that I think it actually made light scratch marks on the surface.

I would definitely recommend Mcguiars over the others.

Here are pics of my cars after waxing. On the RX8 I had just used clay bar, paint cleaner, polish, NXT Paste Wax, and Speed Detailer on it:

I was using Meguiars Gold Class for a while on my Z and I thought it was great until I seen their NXT line next to the Gold Class I had been using and decided to try it. I didn't think it would be that big of a difference since the Gold Class was so good but I was definately impressed especially in the night when my Z looks like the paint is dripping off due to the of the reflection of the moon and streetlights. NXT is great stuff and I am on my second bottle.
