Anything better than Zaino?
I see everyone singing the praises of Zaino, which really does look amazing after a few applications on your Zs.
My question is: Does anyone use a product that they feel is superior to Zaino?

If a deep rich glossy shine is your objective, i would personally look elsewhere. If durability with great shine is your objective, then Zaino it is. I've been hearing great things about a product called "Finish First." It's supposed to be just like Zaino except offers a better shine and is just as durable. I'm all about Zaino right now, but in a year or two, I would like to try Finish First. It just has too small of a following right now for me to stray from the safety of Zaino.
I got turned on to Finish First from a customer of mine who uses it on his black prowler and black 911 turbo. I had never heard of the stuff and was scared to try it on my brand new super black Z. But I have to tell you the stuff is AWSOME. I have used blackfire and zano products in the past and this stuff is by far a better looking finish. I have only had it on the car for 2 months so not sure on its durability but so far so good.
This product is great I was a bit suprised to see someone els that has heard of it because like you said it seems to have a very small following. If anyone would like to see Pics let me know =)

After trying dozens of products for almost 35 years, Zaino is by far the best out there. In the Guru Report, they tested over 40 different polishes and waxes. Zaino came in first in the synthetic class and overall. The shine is incredible, really brings out the true color of the car. Zaino is 99% optically clear, wax is something like 70%. As far as durability and protection Zaino is way beyong everything else. It goes on and comes off easier than any prodfuct I've ever used. It is the easiest to keep clean. It contains no wax, abrasives or silicone and can be layered. The more coats the better the protection.
It all depends on what you want from the product you plan to use.

I am new to this as well, so i was wondering how much a full Zaino setup would cost? I see a bunch of different waxes that you should use and it seems like it might be a costly (but very much worthwhile) investment. A run down of the different options out there would be much appreciated. I hear Zaino is the best overall without any big compromises (amazing shine AND durability), but am interested in learning more about the others mentioned (Finish First and Blackfire).
On the Zaino webpage is ALOT of great info about all the products, their application, tips and tricks and FAQ's.
Most people start out with the Z-2 polish, Z-6 enhancer spray, Z-7 wash, Z-18 clay bar and the ZFX additive. If you have problems with swirl marks you may want to consider the Z-5 polish, which is a thicker version of the Z-2 and is better at filling swirl marks.
You can get up to 24 coats out of a single 8 oz. bottle of polish.

Blackfire gets my vote as well I would like to try finish first as well.
Blackfire unlike Zaino, enhances darker color paint. Which in my case I see a big difference next to zaino which reflects light more.
Other personal test I've done I've notced a slicker finish BF2 by using the quick detail after washing couple of weeks after the first application. Plus what I've noticed which was real cool. I drove to Georgia in my friends mule (2001 Ford F-150 Super Crew) towing my wrangler last week and stopped at a self service car wash where you use the pressure wash wand and accessories. We stopped to rinse all the mud and stuff off the two vehicles. After spraying the truck down with water all the beads just sheeted right off. Leaving just a slick surface.

Another factor to consider is cost. I considered Zaino and as others have mentioned, there are quite a few to purchase. With Blackfire, the $49 new car kit contains the polish, protectant and wash. If you're correctly using it, that stuff can last for a long time, even if you're doing multiple coats or vehicles.
The new formula Blackfire seems easy to apply and does hold it's slickness and shine over several months. My Redline track model simply glows with the stuff!

Have any of ya all noticed Cazzz Zs posts with pics of his Brick?
Everytime I see the pics the car stands out due to the shine.
Turns out he uses a product called Martgol's Magic. It is a product produced by a detailer out of SoCal. Since I thought Cazz's Zzzz looked as good as the Zaino-ed ones, I'm giving Martgols a try. Just ordered it today. I'll post pics/comments after I give it a gooooooooo.

I'm a very happy blackfire user. I find it much better than Meguiars and Zymol. I haven't tried Zaino yet, but can't justify the time and $$ compared to what i've already spent and the results already achieved. I can't wait to start using blackfire on a new car. =)
i have heard that some polishes are good for colors and some are good for light colors and even others are good for blacks.
I am getting a Silverstone, what do you all think would work best with that?

So many ppl have given praise about that product. Is it availiable in stores.. or just through the website?
