Default Sticky on hood! help :(

Hey guys,

I need a little assistance here... was washing my baby last night and noticed there's a ... for lack of a better term... "sticky" spot on the hood. it's about the size of quarter... tried rubbing it out a lil and it didn't help...just kinda made it worse on each side in the direction i was wiping. I don't think it's hardened gum or anything like that, cause I would have noticed it... but ... maybe it's sap?... unfortunately I have to park my car outside..no other choice.

Anyone have any idea of how / what I can do or use to remove this spot?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Manifest.

Maybe this is the solution for this guy complaining that magnets don't stick to his car in one of the other topics...
Throw some tree sap on it and it will stick!
