I enjoy detailing my Z, so I usually do it each Saturday. Wash, dry, Zaino, interior. Takes me about three hours, but it's three hours well spent. Can't beat the end result.

 

Depends on how much I drive my ZR. I wash it when its dirty and detail around monthly!

 

Weather permitting, I wash weekly. I have other tasks that I do on a monthly basis, or quarterly. I apply Zaino as needed.

 

Agree. Depends how you define detailing.

Engine bay? Wheels? Wheel wells? Interior? Door jambs? Exhaust under the car?

I don't attempt all those areas in the same day. Usually I wash the car and add one additional task such as the door jambs.

I Wash only when it needs it. Tends to be about once every 2-3 weeks since it doesnt get driven much. I always use a quick detailer after washing too.
I wax with a carnuba about every 5-6 weeks (I use collinite on the dd, so that lasts about 6 months)
Full clay/polish/seal/wax, leather clean/condition, interior, etc type detail is about once or twice a year for both cars.

 

Wash 1 or 2 times a week, followed by quick detailer.
Wax 1 or 2 times a month.
Clay, polish and wax once every four months.

Same for wife's Expedition, can't stand a dirty vehicle!

I go crazy washing my car but I don't waz it near enough

 

what kind of clay bar do u suggest...i was nearlly every week and try to wax every 4 or 5 but i want to do a real good clay bar this week
