There are no instructions but...

a. Turn inside-out.
b. Wash in a front loading commercial machine. Warm water.
c. I have tried half dozen detergents. A couple of ounces of Mr. Clean works best.
d. Spin in a commercial dryer for about 10 minutes on medium heat. Remove the cover. It will still be wet.
e. Dry on the car.
f. After drying, spray the top with Scotch Guard.

I'd hang it on a clothes line and spray it down with some laundry soap/water mix in a spray bottle then use the hose to wash it off. I then can hang to dry in a couple minutes on the line.

I wash mine in a regular top loader home machine.
Set it to double rinse, arm and hammer perfume and dye free soap, outside out.
Once done I pull it out, turn it inside out and run washer again with no soap and double rinse.
Throw in dryer.

I like everything except "e.".. I would think the wet cover would cause paint discoloration if left to dry in the sun.
