I know this was posted in the past, but all the old threads got deleted before I had a chance to pick one up.

Duster for $16.95

Large and Small Duster Combo for $22.50

Duster and Magic Blade for $25.95

I recently bought my fiance' the latter pair and she loves both. Her car looks like it has been washed after she takes the duster to it.

The blade really helps get a lot of the water off of flat panels, windows, hoods, etc.

Also try Costco. Got the duster/mini combo for about 16.

Default Consider Microfiber Instead

I use large microfiber cloth sections and like it a lot more than the CA duster. It seems little more than a janitor's dust mop to me. :-/ On dark cars it leaves nasty streaking, but YMMV. Personally I'll never use one again. BTW, all kinds of deals exist on microfiber now. I think 3M makes the best (also most expensive) but cheap ones are availble in multi-packs at Pep Boys, etc. I have one dedicated for my windows, one for the interior, and one for the exterior. A little reverse-osmosis water and maybe some rubbing alcohol for window duty and you are set.

To clarify, the dusters sold at Target and WalMart for around 10 dollars are not the larger wood handle version. The mop head on the wood handle one (the chain stores sell one with a plastic handle and much smaller and thinner mop head) is about twice as thick and longer strands.

Both are made by the California Car Duster company, I called the company to be a distributor and asked why two versions and they told me that the chain stores could not sell them to the average Joe for up around 20 dollars so they made a special cheaper version for discount store sales.

As far as I know the only difference is the handles. I was looking to sell them and when I asked that is what I was told.

Nope, they fed you a line on that one, I have proof. I have told people for years, and years online that there is a difference in the mop head quality and no one believed me, so I proved it, I own both kinds and here are the pics:

Both remove dust, both work, but I just like the fuller mop head.
