Newb using Zaino on a SB Z...(56k...do it and weep)
So I finally tried to do the whole Zaino process after seeing IzYou's thread about the Zaino meet coming up in May. And after reading countless threads about Zaino, I finally took the plunge and bought the ZKIT-1 from www.lazaino.com.
Mind you, that I was always use Meguiar's (sp?) products along with a porter cable 7424.
Well boys and girls, here it is...the final result after using and following Zaino's recommended instructions.
1) Wash with dawn dishwasher soap,
2) Claybar with Z-18
3) Wash car with Z-7
4) spray and wipe the whole exterior with Z-6
5) polish car with ZFX + Z5 (x2)
6) spray and wipe down exterior with Z-6 again.
7) polish car with ZFX + Z2 (x1)
It took me about 5-6 hours with waiting for the polish to cure and eating out with my friends. They all thought i was crazy for taking all day to do this....but it was well worth it. I was surprised to see the end result. I have NEVER seen my Super Black Z shine and reflect light so well!
me and bob marley smoking a phat one on my hood...haha:
Side Panel:
1/4 panel front + hood:
rear 1/4 panel: (I am a darky filipino! haha...)

I do however want to ask the zaino representative at InYou's meet about that. In reality, you dont use alot of the product at all. just light thin coats...with the porter cable, it might waste alot of the product. << dont quote me on that though.
Thanks again for the words!

Yeah same here nothing but Meg's on my car but I never had the option of a side by side comparison so that would be great. I have a 4 step process with a orbital buffer that I use which has yeilded awesome results.
