See that shine? Hah, can't even tell there is a car there! That's what you call CLEAN

Here's what I did:

1) Pre-rinse the car with a mild stream, not misty, but not a jet either to get off all dirt

2) Soap car with RainX Sheeting Water Mild Soap

3) Hosed car off with a mild jet stream once again

4) Re-applied soap

5) Very gently spray a mist to get soap off and to activate the "sheeting action" (Worked better than most soaps but not all water beaded off)

6) Applied a layer of CGQ

7) Spread CGQ

8) Dried it off the car

9) Applied Meguires Wax with a buffer

10) Waited about 45 minutes to haze

11) Removed Meguires Wax with buffer

12) Dusted car with feather duster

13) Ran a toothpick into all the edges to get that white dry wax out.

**By the way, I do sell CGQ if you are interested**

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Yeah I did, but adding the wax with the buffer, then removing it with the buffer gets rid of them nicely, then adding a gloss (glossy wipes) really helped hide the swirl marks and left a nice smooth look.

Only thing I can think of that I should have done was claybar the car, there are a few little specs of dirt next to the wheels

Yeah.. but did you clean those wheels!!

I think your rims are probably pitted they looked so dirty last weekend

Why did you use wax over crystalguard?

I know some people use wax over a sealant for an extra deep for like show purposes.. but doesn't seem practical for normal use.

My car I'm still doing traditional polish + wax and getting plenty fine results for my tastes

Last weekend? Hmm.. Where was this? I can only remember seeing one other person with a SB Z and he had the track..

Anyways, yes my rims are horrible.. last night I was about 50ft from my car, and I had someone ask me what kind of rims were on my car, I said "Stock Rims", he looked from 50ft away and say "Get them powder coated?" .. I just laughed

I have a few layers of CGQ on the car, but I wanted to see how well meguires wax would do, so I put it on. In comparison, mequires added a little more shine, but then I did buff with it and not CGQ.. I'm going to be using Mequires Show car Glaze 7 soon, post pics up that soon.
