I don't think this is always necessarily the case, is it? It could just mean he needs to clay his car?


Also, I'm curious as to what you guys use or do to completely remove/strip your car of carnuba wax?

This is a way of seeing if you have wax or not. I'm not saying if the surface is rough(then you need a clay bar job). If it squeeks, then you are out of wax.

To remove all wax, you can use a harsh soap such as Dawn dishwashing soap. Carnuba wax usually runs out pretty quick though. Couple of washes and being out in the sun.

Ok so you never answered my question, Im gonna put 3 coats more of z-2 on as well as 4 coats of z-6 one before and after each coat. Then tomorrow Ill put a coat of carnuba on. But my question was, do I want to use the mothers cleaner wax? I dont think so but im Not sure. What other carnubas can you reccomend that pep boys will have.
