Don't ever use a real chamoi, after one or 2 uses they will scratch your paint like you won't believe. Use 2 microfiber drying towels, one for the bulk amount of water and the second one for the remainder and to prevent water spots and streaks.
The Absorber. I gently pull it across the car's surface, not just go at it like it was a towel.
Along with numerous microfiber towels. One for the door jams and stuff. One for the wheels. One for the tires. One for under the hood and the exhaust tips.
waffle weave microfiber is the best i've used so far on any type of car. I used to use synthetic chamois but it leaves streaks... very minor but it's there.

When I could wash the Z with car wash and water, I used a waffle weave microfiber towel as well. Now I have to use waterless car wash (water restrictions).
If water restriction are lifted, I plan on blow-drying the car with my "blow-n-vac" vacuum. It filters the air so their little to no chance on scraching the clear coat that Nissan uses in the paint.

blow drying is great! I do this for cars that bead and sheet water as it is easier than using towels and also good in purging water from crevices.
