Default What is the best polish

I have just bought Zymol for the Z. This seems to work the best for cleaning the Black paint.

Is there anything that might be better?

Here's some advice that will save you a lot of trouble:
Go to Auto Zone and buy some microfiber towels. Buy A LOT. Don't let anything else touch the car besides the microfiber or cannon and fieldcrest 100% cotton towels. No regular towel will do!

Then...go to http://www.zainostore.com and buy the Zaino starter kit. $80 something dollars and can last you the whole year. Once you get the stuff, let us know and we'll give you some tips

You have to be extra careful with black because swirl marks show up VERY easily. That means no automatic car washes, regular towels, or abrasive stuff

One last thing, Fieldcrest and Cannon 100% cotton towels are good to use for drying the car...

The www.dftowel.com towel is the only micro-fiber towels I'll use. I know some of the Zaino distributors also sell them.

Zaino! I would even suggest staying away from the 100% Cotton towel from Cannon or Fieldcrest. There are also different grades of microfiber. Only use DF Towel from dftowel.com. You will pay a little more, but worth it. I would also suggest getting at least two (2) "Big Blue" waffle towel for drying. Soak up the water better than anything I have used. Get the Zaino "Kit". Following the instructions to the letter. Apply Z5 until you are satisfied and then go with Z2. I throw in an application of Z5 with every 3-4 application of Z2. Seeing is believing

I think everyone is zaino and grounding kit krazy...have you ever heard of lemmings, if one goes over the cliff they all follow. Try Meguiar's Gold Class Clearcoat-liquid for ten bucks(and do use the microfiber towels)

Suggest you try both and you will be "krazy" with all of us! Have not heard of "lemmings"! Perhaps user of "lemmings" are so embarrassed they go over cliffs or they were behind someone who uses Zaino, blinded by the glare and missed the curve sign. I tried Mequiar's Gold Class and it now resides in the Albuquerque Dump Site. There are "microfiber towels" and then there are "microfiber towels"! Try D F Towels and you know you are getting the "best" microfiber towels!

since you have a Super black... may I suggest Blackfire. specially formulated for black and red cars. I also agree with the others using a microfiber towel. get the new car kit.... its only $50 and comes with the towels you need and applicators. Very easy to apply and will last you a long time. here's mine with my first application and another pic from their website

I have used Meguiars Gold, and used Zaino, Can you guess which one got tossed?

No comparison here, I waxed my Maxima almost monthly with the gold class.

With Zaino, you just keep adding coats.

So I have used both and Zaino is #1, HANDS down!

Just my .02.

unless you have a brickyared superblack or redline the shine on our cars is not so exciting...i wax and polish with meguiars gold class cause its supposedly one of the best...the car looks just as good with any wax..the only thing you zaino guys can argue is protection..but as far as looks..its basically undetectable....and i heard that if you dont do zaino right then your screwed...

Doc...You must have taken pics with "Layers" 51 and 52? As many times as I have looked at your "Z", this is the first time I have noticed your spoiler! VERY nice!
