Unhappy My windows are ALWAYS dirty . . .

it's driving me crazy, no matter what i do, however much glass cleaner i use, all it takes is them being rolled down once, and they're dirty....i think it's becuase of the grease streaks, but it's getting worse, and worse ...on another note, whenever i wash my car i try not to roll down the windows, but eventually within a few hours i have too and when i put them back up they're all wet...is this normal? if i don't wipe them off (which i normally don't) after i roll them back up, they get dryed up water/grease marks all over them...

it's pi$$in me off cause i freezin my a$$ off outside cleaning my car, and the windows just seem to keep getting dirty and ruining the look.....should i tint my windows?

Yes, the windows getting wet after rolling them up/down is a normal thing. My windows still get wet after I roll them down even a day and a half after washing the car.

My solution is to have a can of Stoner's Invisible Glass and a cotton cloth in the trunk at all times.

There are felt and cloth runners or guides that the window rolls down into, these soak up water and if you roll the windows down soon after washing the car you will steak your windows, I guess there is also some extra assembly grease somewhere in the doors that is causing the streaking also.

Try a DF towel and some of Leo glass cleaner for a really clean glass. www.dftowel.com

And yes, if you tint your windows (I tint all my vehciles first thing when I buy them) it does hide the look of always having smudged or hazed windows.

Invisible Glass and a lint-free microfiber is the way to go. You can get a can of free Invisible Glass at SportsCarCare.com

Am I the only one who DOESN'T like the stoner invisible glass cleaner? Everytime I use it I get streaks unless I dry with old newspaper. It seems to pick up lint quickly also...am I doing something wrong? Is there some magical process?

You need to go back and buff the Invisible Glass Product. Great product.

Whatever you use, Invisible Glass, Sprayway, (don't use anything with ammonia - esp if you have tinted windows), you should fold a clean lint-free microfiber in quarters, spray the product, and wipe off. After the product is gone, flip the towel over to the dry side and wipe again. That should do it EVERY time.

Here's another tip that works great: go side-to-side on the OUTSIDE of the windows and up-and-down on the INSIDE and then you'll always know which side has the streak!

Ahhhh...makes sense. Also, I know it says safe for tinted windows, but is it true?

Yes, I talked to Stoner and they swear it is. They have a great rep, so I believe them.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, ammonia is the ingredient to watch out for with tinting, and it's not in Invisible Glass.
