You can only buy it through official channels, like through the website or via official Zaino distributors.

I even sent an e-mail to Sal Zaino asking him if he'd considered selling the stuff on eBay, and he replied with an emphatic "absolutely not." Oh well.

The distributors have a set of rules we must live by. We must sell it at the same price as the zainostore. We cannot have a shopping cart situation on our websites where you can purchase Zaino. I can sell other things that way just not Zaino.
No 3rd party sales(retail, auto parts stores, etc). We must sell to the end user.
I think early on there was a distributor selling on Ebay and he is no longer selling the product.
While they sound restrictive, it is not that bad.

I believe there are 2 distributors in VA. You can e-mail Zaino and ask who the closest to you is.

No, it's not bad at all. The restrictions Zaino places on their distributors basically keeps the quality of their products high. After all, when you buy from an authorized dealer and get detailed instructions on how to use it, you know you're getting the real, freshest product.
