What are the downsides to Zaino?
What are the downsides to Zaino, if any?
Zaino looks excellent, but is there a concern of damaging your Z using the clay? Is there anything someone should concern themselves with when considering Zaino?
Thanks for any input,
Todd

The sore back and arms you get from spending all day cleaning and waxing a car. Seriously, my Z looks awesome after Zaino and it was well worth the effort.

The fact you need a seperate product to make the stuff cure in reasonable time. Why isn't that stuff in the product in the first place?!
And lots of elbow grease....
Looks great though!

The obsessive-compulsive desire to put on 'just one more coat before bed' and then waking up at 6am to get it taken off before showing and heading to work...

Only difficulty I know of is the initial process. Daning, claying, etc etc. Allthough, thi should be done anyways, before changning waxes, receiving new car. Anoher downside, the dime sized application, it's harder to see on lightr cars, and it takes longer to cover th entire car. Other than that, it works perfect for me! The only product that really brought out the shine on my white car )check sig)

It sounds like labor and cost are the biggies. That is good. I was afraid someone would say "the random destruction of your paint" as one. Whew!
Thanks,
Todd

As Frank mentioned, definitely the back pain.
There's also a very shallow learning curve. Even though I read so much, I still didn't get it right the first time.

Time investment (at least the first application), cost, and having to answer all the questions about the car!!!
Claying doesn't hurt your paint and isn't exclusive to Zaino. All detailers do it I believe. I really don't think the product would still be around and be so critically acclaimed if it did anything bad to your car's paint.
