Mr. Clean sprayer durable?
I was wondering if anyone who has one of these can comment on how strong it is, specifically the collar on the bottom where the hose attaches. That looks like it would last a week if hit.
My wife bought one this weekend...did a trial use on her Benz before I would use it on my Z...
I give it a pretty good rating...not as good as if you dry your entire car by hand, but a great time saver.
I agree...don't drop it and you'll do just fine.

I know two detailers that use it without the cleaning solution (as it streaks like hell), and swear by it. I'm going to start using it next week, but during the drying phase follow it up with big blue.

I got the Mr. Clean Autowash gun and it worked pretty good on my Z. Didn't have to dry it. The only thing that sucks is that if your car hasn't been waxed in a while it will not work. My car is brand new so the water beaded off easily, also on this Altima that was new, but I washed a 2000 Miata that hadn't been waxed, and it had more spots than a dalmation. It's cool on new cars and it saves time, but drying it is better. You can see all the imperfections and get em' out. Besides you get to see everyone look at your car as you dry it.
I got this thing and I like it.
You don't HAVE to use it as a soap dispenser, but it does spray soapy water conveniently. I usually use it to spray the car with soap, but then I work with my mitt and a bucket of clean soapy water.
For the first rinse I use my regular hose and sprayer. This gets the soap off.
Then I use the Mr Clean thingy as a final rinse. I think of it as if the Mr Clean is used to rinse off the other rinse water. It drys clean and spot free even on glass.
The construction is a little cheap, but it works.
