1/4 mile Times?
dang man my best time is a 13.918 @ 102.2mph. I am dying to get some non-bald tires and go back to work on my launch. my 60' was 2.235 but it was around 65 deg F so that probably didnt help the launch. how are you guys launching? I drove a civic before I got the Z so I am like a little clueless on RWD launches.

I launch at approximately 2500 rpms and feather off the clutch till I feel I get traction... then floor it. That's how I got my 1.9 60 foot. I needa work on my shifts though .. with a 1.9 60 foot I'm told I should be hitting a 13.6-7

You are obviously losing traction at the line. 1st and 2nd gear traction problems seem very common in Z's I can't help you with the launch unless you have a 5AT. Tires are abig kpart of the launch though. I am very happy with my Pilot Sports, but I won a set of Drag radials at the drags so I will be using them next season.

I ran a 13.85, but it was a double break out and I won. here is the race.

I'm pretty stock, JWT intake and Borla exhaust, 5AT touring with spare, jack and tools. on 91 octane.

no the burnouts dont occur in the box. the tires are rolled through the box and turned over to get wet(if you have skinnies up front) or backed into and rolled over to wet them. then the car is pulled out of the wet pavement and that is where you do the burnout.
