Video of my best pass tonight at SDR, very slight PB.......
I went to the track tonight to try and beat my PB. I first ran on my street tires, with no spare or jack removal, to see how the car trapped, before swapping to the DR's.
It wasn't pretty as traction was bad tonight, and my tires were not up to the task. I spun off the line, let up, then got back into the gas, spun badly in second, lifted to stop, and got back into it. That resulted in a not so pretty 13.8@102.7. Ouch.
I then went straight to the Armada to swap out the wheels and tires, noting that slick tired cars were spinning as well.
I started off at 32 lbs, like I had been running, but my friend Conrad talked me into dropping all the way down to 16 lbs through the evening. I finally started hooking on the last few runs. I should have listened to him and everyone else a long time ago. I'll take a slight trap speed loss for this kind of traction on a night wheh everyone is spinning!
I forgot to take out the spare, jack and tools, so without that weight I could have gone quicker, but who cares. I WILL run a 12.9!
My best pass was;
R/T .101 (I did better than that most of the evening.)
60 1.877
330 5.496
1/8 8.498
MPH 82.51
1000 11.080
1/4 13.263 (New PB by .003, hahaa)
MPH 103.45
Tonight was a bad night for this track, so overall I was pleased. My SES light came right after I left the track. I suspect it is from an O2 sensor, as I have non foulers in place to fool them, but they have been on the TP's for a long time! The 1 gallon of VP 101 I added probably helped to finally set the light off.
Odd thing is the car seems to run better now, but the gas mileage has dropped by 3 mpg, since I left the track!
Anyway, enough talk, here is the video. Keep in mind that I have a base model, so I have to do a few little burn outs to get both tires heated.

I should have gone to the 1/4 mile tonight, my car loves the cold air. I had a new personal best 1/8th mile, 8.09 @ 85.6mph on a 1.77 60 ft time. That would have been a pretty strong mid 12 tonight at Steele.
