Sorry for the delayed response. I thought I replied to you, but apparently, I didn't. Anyway, your time has not been added to the list because your posted ET is slower than the 25th spot's ET. And thanks to your non-OEM tires, you don't qualify for 100% stock category.

Wow, again? I apologize for my mistake. I just updated the list with your new time. Sorry about that. I've been working a crap ton of hours with around 3-5 hours of sleep each night and I guess it affects me more than I thought. Thanks for catching that, Mike.

This is my slip from a 09 370z 6 Speed Manual with bolt ons on M/T ET streets that I got from aceman... Time could of been better but the radial slicks mixed with oem front tires made the car unstable and I def didn't push it to its potential.

I was asked by a member to post here but I don't see a 370z section... so sorry for posting if this is not my area to post in!

Nice time. What do you mean when you say the car was "unstable"? Im pretty sure there are alot of Z's running stock tires up front with faster times. What did your other times that day look like?

Also what did you race against? It looks like if the driver knew what they were doing it might have been a pretty good race.

Its not uncommon to have an unstable sway to the car when you have bias ply's in the back with stock radials up front. Since it was his first pass with that set-up I would guess the "floating" feeling was unsettling. Most just get used to it, but if he wishes to move to another option more power to 'em, but the bias ply will be faster and a little easier on driveline parts.

If a person has not run on Drag Radials before, it is not uncommon for them to think the car feels unstable.

^he was on bias ply ET streets.......My MT DR's had no sway what so ever and I ran them on the street to and from the track without issue.

Maybe it is just me and the people I hear talk about how DR's feel. They feel funny to me above 80mph.

Some of that is pressure dependent....at 14ish psi they get a little "floaty" but nothing extraordinary to me.....or even really all that noticeable. Could just be that I was so accustomed to it. With 28psi in them they felt just fine though.

I think it is a matter of how often you drive on them. I don't use the DR's that much and when I do I drive to the track with 32# in them. I get the wobbly feeling when I run at the track at 18# or so. It is not a big deal, just a different feeling. I figure if guys are doing 160+ on them I should be able to keep it in a straight line at 106 or so.
