Damn. I need to fish out some of my old time slips. I can be on a couple of those lists...

 

I haven't checked the lists in awhile. Not Stock/Bolt-Ons has 24 entries - only one left. What will be interesting is when new times are added, and members are bumped-off. Bumped-off is not fun.

 

True, but what is nice about it is. People will try and stay on the list, so it should keep things interesting ( I hope )

I am excited about this coming season. Lots of new things will be going on, Not to metion a new engine in the 350z.

Well there you have it. We now have 25 people in the Bolt on list. I will now have to start bumping off the ones with out time slips.

Also, i have given it alot of thought. This is in regards to the number 1 spot, on the bolt-ons list.

I would not feel right removing it from the list, just because people dont believe it happened.

He did produce a slip and he no longer has the car, so i will have to leave it on the list.

If i removed times from the list that have produced a slip, i think it would take away from what we are trying to do here with the whole verification process. I can see if he did not have the time slip. But here it is.

If you look at Sfarrah's time, he is less than a tenth away from that time. So it CAN be beaten.

Soon you will have to decide if a unverified time will prevent a new verified time slip from making it into the top-25.
And also if an new unverified time will bump-off #25.

 

Hey Dave,

I already stated that from this point on I will start bumping off the ones with out Time slips. So if you want to get on the list, you will have to have a time slip. Now this only affects the lists that have 25 people in the list. But sooner or later it will apply to all of the lists.

I dont see a need right now, to remove the ones that are not verified.

But cant anyone produce ANY slip, doesn't necessarily have to be theirs....the process isnt and will never be fool proof

 

The ideal thing would be to also provide the inspection page. Unfortunately, the track doesn't provide that for us to keep, at least in my case.

 

If that tickles their Ballz, then let them do it.

I see no reason why someone would want to go through the trouble anyway. I mean, it would be a bogus slip. How could you feel good about posting it up and saying its yours.

Hey guys

At this time I am no longer able to edit the lists in this thread. I have posted a thread about this, so hopefully a admin can look into the issue and get this resolved.
