I'm not asking to have my time listed because it just doesn't compare. I live in Vegas and the DA for that particular day was over 5500'. Also what screwed my time was not realizing that I coulda ran 3rd til the end of the trap (which I'll do next time).

The question I have is this... How is this ranking list fair to someone who races at elevation? Or are there telltale numbers on the slip that gives up the fact the vehicle is running fast (even though ET/trap) is high? I've made several passes at the strip but am not sure how all the numbers correllate.

In the spring when the strip here opens back up, I'll post a slip and hopefully get it dissected by the gurus here.
Elevation doesn't even matter as much as the climate conditions. Come to TX and see your times drop.

As davidv said, the list is imperfect. It is there to just give us an idea of how the others are doing and give us the incentive to try harder and practice our skills.

That must be one great running 350Z. Certainly you will want to credit your racing skills here: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=233840.

To date only one member has taken me up on the offer.

BTW I race Summit ET. If you lose you are out and don't race again. See: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....ghlight=winner.

How come I'm the only one with a JWT TT time? Surely someone out there with this kit can beat my time...

I've seen a G with a JWT TT w/build run 12.3 at Bradenton. He had on road course wheels/tires and this was his first and best run. This car had so much more in it and hopefully he's figured out traction issues.

Very difficult to read. Are you in the left lane? Is that 14.3940 seconds?

I haven't done anything to the car other than slap the track model brembos in with the Track Rays. Even the air filter is a $6 Fram garbage from Pep Boys. If needed I'll post pics of the OEM exhaust.

On a more serious note, this time slip posting is very prone to cheating. Let me re-phrase that: Its not the slip, is what mods the poster says he had to achieve that slip.

I suggest the poster submit dated pics of the vehicle that corresponds with the time slip.

I go by myself most of the time (DFW Z people don't like drag racing or something), and I'm not going to trust a complete stranger to hold onto my camera to take pics. But yes, that would be better. Seriously though, if lying on an internet forum about your times at the track and/or mods help you sleep at night, go for it. People are in diff states with diff conditions, tracks, car characteristics, etc. So many variables. Boasting online about how fast your car is, how awesome you're at shifting, or how slow somebody is shifting in the vid they posted only makes you look like a cocky bastard who needs to be sterilized.
