Andre sent me an email with his mods....

Slicks, street ACT clutch & alum. fly wheel, test pipes, 3:90 gears & of course, a good tune.
I have no reason to doubt his time. He has run at several tracks, been seen by other members, and provided the requisite information for inclusion. He seems to go to atco, etc often (he sends me an email 2-3 times a month with slips)....go down and watch/inquire.

If you're referring to Andre's times, the 3 mods that help him the most (other than the driver mod) are the 3.9 gears, test pipes, and slicks. The slicks and the gears allow for the low 60' times, while the test pipes give him extra power.

He also has a tune.....for what it's worth.

The reason for his success is simple.....look at his 60'.....just as 3hree5ive0zero has mentioned.

I'd have to look, but I believe he has or had posted some in-car of his runs. A 1.6 is very, very good time for a sub 300whp (or close to it) IRS car.

Bah, I need to get more seat time. Hadn't gone for a couple of months and all I got was a 13.68 with my new HFC's. Then again I only got three runs in and it was at Capital where they don't let me go past the water box. :-(

Guess I'm going to have to invest in some DRs.

Andre's trap indicates that he's making good power. Anyone know what he puts down for comparison purposes?

Remember that he also has skinnies up front, which means less air resistance.

290whp with test pipes and a tune? I thought people were struggling to get there with full bolt-ons for an hr?

Nice run if the track prep and weather was better you would of been mid 11's for sure.

Because of the crappy prep and weather I couldn't get better than 14.0 which is not the norm for me. I didn't spray due to not having my DR's didn't want to waste it on street tires.

Did you do any N/A runs that night and nice seeing you again I knew that was you when you went 12.0 on one run.

Exclamation

Looks like #4 on the overall list needs to be updated.

Rocky (need4boostz) swapped in a TH400 trans and made consistent 9.5 second ET's yesterday on drag radials.

Congrats Rocky and VTR!
