Made a new best pass. Probably would have been better but I blew my kinetix intake apart on the 2-3 shift.

Did you up your shot also you had the composite kinetix plenum right? I knew you would be faster once the weather cools down.

Have you dynoed your car with your new setup?

Nice time by the way.

still 125 shot.
and yea its a kinetix i ordered another but im gonna try to get them to warranty that one.
it was warmer on this run than when i ran that 11.7. only thing i changed on the car was the intake and exhaust. but i know for sure it has 11.50s in it maybe faster. im looking around right now, trying to find some more solenoids to change my nitrous setup so i can go to a 150.

and no i havnt had a chance to dyno it. i tried before i went to japan, but they all said they were too busy. so maybe when i get another plenum il get it dyno'd

the guy that owns the performance store that opened by my house was trying get his name on my car, and trying to give me shirts and stuff lastnight. said he would buy me some parts.

Have him pay for your new solenoids to put his shops name on your car. Do you have pics of your blown kinetix? I wouldn't put another one back on if you are spraying.

CIN would not tune my car with nitrous until I replaced mine with a stock manifold due to that very reason.

I thought you were porting your stock manifold. I would put that on with a spacer instead of the kinetix again.

Did you do any weight reduction I can't remember if you had your passenger seat in when we met at the track. I will be down that way the 1st week of november.

i ported and shaved a revup lower plenum and i have it on there. i ordered another kinetix used, and im gonna try to work out something with kinetix on a warranty exchange on my broke one.
no i dont have any weight reduction yet. i guess that will probably be my next thing i look into. if my plenum comes in i will go to coastal plains this friday again, they have the promods running this weekend so they will have the track prepped real good.

Well I believe I figured out my spark issue (bad ground) and I am headed to the track one more time this Thursday! Have the 28" Hoosier DR's on this time and I'm hoping to cut some 1.4XX 60's and some high 10's. The car should be a decent amount below 2,800 lbs without me now since I managed to shave another 50 or so pounds from the previous race weight of 2,812lbs.

Goal is to move up to 9th or 10th overall on all motor. Then it's time for spray, intake manifold and throttle body over winter!

Hi,

I just want to throw out there that I haven't owned a Z in a few years, but I come back to this forum often. One thing I always check is this thread. I would like to throw a friendly challenge out there to some of the shops/deep pocket guys to shake up the top 5 list here. It's been stagnant for to long
