I think I still have a little more time left in this setup if I'm reading the slips correctly. On the 13.39 run I think I launched right but messed up shifting somewhere. On the 13.46 run I think I launched OK but shifted better, especially since I had a trap speed 1mph higher correct?

Also, I'm hitting the 8k rev limit in third a couple hundread feet before the 1/4 mile. It's driving me nuts cause the car just starts to decel, or I have to shift. Both of which screw up my time. I guess I won't fix that till I get new gears though.

After about 7pm it started getting crowded and they kept spraying water all over the place. I couldn't get under a 2.1 60' after that.

Almost forgot:
2008 base
intake, hfc's, cobb canned tune stage 1, street tires.
Impressive driving for all-motor 350Z. Congratulations.

I ran my fastest time on street tires this weekend with a 12.3@109 with a 1.81 60'. Im not sure why the trap is so low. I'm positive I could have pulled a 1.7 if I would have sprayed just a little bit sooner. My 19's were hooking right up all weekend. It's nice to finally know how fast I am in full street trim. I'll be going all out on the 19th taking my seat out, installing the light weight battery and putting the slicks on.

Another Kinetix plenum failure... Not surprised, but sucks to see. Congrats on your new best time.

^ +1 Kinetix is known to fail more often than any other plenums out there. Hopefully, it's just the plenum and no other parts and none of the pieces got into the engine.

Its the second one I have broke in the past 4 months. The first just cracked. This one blew up. I could care less about the plenum. I'm just upset it destroyed my hood

I'd just go with a spacer or APS Tallboy instead to add volume to the OEM manifold. The Kinetix + boost and/or nitrous often = FAIL

Sorry about the damage. Not the first I have seen with the plastic Kinetix upper plenum and nitrous. But I have not seen the front engine cover destroyed.

I'm guessing that happened because of a lack of tune, stock timing, running slightly lean, 150 shot, and probably on regular 93 octane. All that = detonation. You're lucky the weak Kinetix is what gave up before something worse happened. Maybe you should start thinking about taking care of some of that.

No I have had it on the dyno several times a/f is fine and I have a wideband in the car. With my 2 stage nitrous setup I'm having flow issues and getting to much fuel and it backfired in the plenum. I have to change my setup. To get equal flow.
