I ran a 13.1 @ 112 with a sorry launch and not spraying until well into 2nd. Hoping to go back soon and get a 12 sec slip.

 

Why would it, it isnt stock? They may be heavy but you very likely added width which obviously is an advantage. It would go to the bolt on list.

This is why we wont see new record breaking 2003 times, not original tires...

Tires are a stiff qualification for 100-percent stock down to the bone. Few if any members replace OEM tires with OEM tires. Generally you can drive a new Z for about a year before you have to move to modified.

 

should see some faster times sunday if the weather is nice. changed a few things and the car really seems to work good now.

 

didnt quite get what i wanted out of the car. with the single stage 150 shot my 60' got worse.

the tires are 245s stretched on a 10.5 i could be wrong but didnt our z's come stock with a 245?

 

^It's not just the tire size that matters. If it's not 100% OEM (as it came from factory, including but not limited to height, wheels, tires, etc), then it's not stock. It's been that way since the creation of this thread pretty much and there's nothing to even discuss -- end of discussion.

 

gotcha, funny thing is that my car probably wouldve been a little quicker with the stock wheels

yea for sure. i would be out of luck if you hadn't shown me that. i had another gopro on my door facing backwards. i havnt seen the video yet, but the guy said you could see the burnout real good and you could see the tires folding in first and second.
