I live on a river. Last storm Irene, and a mismanaged resovior destroyed my car. Flooded/totaled then went to an insurance auction. The car treated me so well, you know, hugs, kisses, breakfast in bed. I had to get it back, so I bought it before the auction, then took a long time to rewire it. My second time at the track, was the Inf./Niss. shootout at Atco. Of course I won it Well my class Thanks for caring

I finished up my 4" intake tonight. and modding my my maxima tb to fit. I'm hoping the pnp harness comes in. this week and I can get the car tuned before Sunday. I ran 12.904 on stock tune last year only making 242hp. I'm hoping after the tune to be around 280 and the car is a bit lighter now. so I'm hoping for 12.6xs. last time when I ran 12.9 that was my only n/a run and the tire pressure was to low and it bogged. I'm goin Sunday just to run n/a
so hopefully I can shave some time off

Vids, in addition to time slips, are always appreciated.

Coastal is running on sunday? Who is making the harness for you Darren Surratt? If you want I'll mail you my 09 max pnp harness and adapter for you to use on sunday.

I just need to buy a 09 max TB

Let me know through text you have my number. I can send it out on weds when this storm passes so you should have it by friday.

Do you think it will start with such a large MAF housing. Probably have to drive to the shop with your old set-up for your tune then switch there.

Went to the local track 2 weeks ago. 60' was really bad due to the little rubber i got. Hopefully I can get to low 12s next year.

Im on the left.

Dont mind my wheel setup haha. It was a last minute decision.

You need DRs or slicks you obviously spun bad off the line. Just need to switch 60ft times with the car you were racing. 12's for sure.

Always happy to get complements 12.8 1.8 60ft? That must have been early in the day I'd rather hear 12.7 1.7 60ft Best run was 12.702. THat's a c*nt's hair away from 12.6 While I'm at it, did you notice the shifts sounding like an automatic trans? Speaking of trans, this tranny sucks when it comes to power shifting into 2nd. gear. My first transmition had to be replaced by Nissan, & this may be happening now to this brand new one. I had no problems with my old 1960's transmitions, I had no problem with my 2004 350z. I don't grind, don't miss, I don't get it. Did they install plastic synchros ??????

Your 60 on that run was 1.801. This was during the TNT runs not comp. You can hear the announcer say you ran 12.7 before.

I'm sure you will run 12.4's in Nov or Dec. I might trek up to Atco in Dec for the even lower DA than Cecil.

I will be on DRs instead of street tires this time.

THANKS,

As I satated in my last post, alot of my boasting is just for fun

I was realy impressed with the G cars. They are hevier & still performed well. I believe some had quicker times than some of the 370's. You know, the ones that hid in the bracket classes, Sorry, I can't help it.

When you see low DA & Temp. & you're going, let me know, I'll join you.

Will do and I don't mind the boasting. The DA when you ran your 12.5 was -1500+. The car at that DA is running at 105% or more which is a extra 10-20hp on top of what you already have.

I'm sure you will get 12.4 now in the same weather conditions. The DA when we ran at NIS was 353 ASL cars were running at 98%.

As possibly a future(this year) LS/240sx swap person, I find this very strange.

I followed your builds for a long time. All that work/money/ & time????

If it's personal reasons, PLEASE don't get into it. I don't need an answer.
Good luck to your future adventures...

I am more engineer than racer and the challenge was to get a low powered car into the 9's. Challenged accepted and bested. I am lucky to end on a successful note and that makes me content.

On to the next thing anyways ;-)
