Maybe. But my idea is to avoid as much unverifiable information as possible. As soon as we get into pounds of boost or nitrous shoot, then things get argumentative. Members may question Are you sure that you can such-and-such ET on only 75 shoot? Why open this potential bag of worms?

I'd say (although it's obviously not up to me) that drivers can note any additional info they'd like-not for argument sake but for a larger pool of information that we can all gain from. Unfortunately there will be no way to verify everything and we'll be at the mercy of everyone's honesty. Just my $.02.

There are so many things i could add to the list, but is it necessary.

Things that could be added.

1. How much does your car weigh
2. What PSI for Forced Induction
3. What type of Cams
4. Are your Heads ported and polished

Then you have the bolt ons.

1. Headers
2. Pulley
3. Exhaust
4. Test pipes or High flow cats
5. plenum ( which one )
6. Flywheel/clutch
7. Intake
8. ECU ( Utec, reflash )
and so on.................

Its nice to have all this info, but do we really need it for this list. I dont want it to become a big mess. I kinda like the way it is now.

Opinions??

No, you're right. The bottom line should be the time in each category.

Yeah, I say leave it as is. But, I think we should do away with impossible times such as the N/A's top 60'. I just don't think that should be there, as it's misleading in a way. And maybe even get rid of the non-verified times.

I have thought about this one. Because honestly, i have no way of knowing if those times were indeed STOCK. Yes, i trust some of the people on there, but I know them. It is another list that is hard to regulate. Someone could easily throw slicks on a STOCK car and run a damn good time. Take them off and now their car is stock again.

I could start a poll and have people vote on this.

Ideas??

Agree. I like the consistency and visual ease. More stuff would just add clutter. Keep it clean and simple.

Trust is important. I like to see time slips rather than members PMing them to you. If you can PM a time slip you can certainly post it.

Members will police one another. A member posts a stock time slip for November 2006. Another member might look at previous posts and find one for August 2006 saying Guys I just installed my headers and they are awesome. Busted!

Just for clarification do you mean you want to remove the top entry in the na bolt ons category (raptorbh12) or remove the 60 foot info for the na's category? Doesn't matter to me if his time stands, I'd just like to ensure that all 60 foots get recorded for all categories.

Im not getting rid of the 60fts, i think that info is very important. I took his question as top stock times.

To me the list is great the way it is now.

BUT, I dont want people to forget, Im doing this for the community. SO you guys tell me what stays or goes.

well, i got a new best today.. Although, it could have been better since i was on dr's. I didn't launch it hard, due to having the stock clutch and not wanting to kill it.

sorry for the poor qaulity.. the mph is 101.95

Is there anyway you can take a pic of it.

I dont want to be a pain, but if people start trying to digitally fixing their timeslips to make them easier to read, people are going to get upset.

I trust that you ran the time, just dont want to take the creditability away from future time slips.

Thanks
Todd

No, I was just saying that his 60' was just an impossible one. So I was saying we should remove his 60' feet info from the list as to not mislead into others to believe that's even actually obtainable with bolt-ons.

Keep the list clean and simple. Individuals can put as much information as they wish into a post inside the thread. Then readers can simply scroll through the thread to find more information on any of the screen names from the list.

You are right. There is a problem with

1. raptorbh12 --------------------------350z 6spd 12.784@105.96mph 1.571 60ft Verified

1.57 seconds in a one in a million chance. Like someone who runs a perfect race: they are on their dial-in with a 0.000 reaction time. It happens. If we cannot trust Compulink what can we trust.
