Default Horrible track day (Season Opener)

Well, today was the season opener for the track and all I have to say is I think they forgot to prep it. I gave up after running 2 times which I think was 2 times too many. My average 60' is around 1.75. That didn't happen today. Both runs I was spinning like crazy and my shifting was horrible. But overall, at least it was fun. I'm going to wait for some warmer days as today was also too cold (39).

#1 Run

60'-----1.875
330----5.238
1/8------Not listed
mph-----Not listed
1000----10.241
1/4------12.156
mph-----118.11

#2 Run
60'-----2.087
330'----5449
1/8-----8.126
mph----91.39
1000---10.404
1/4------12.310
mph-----118.40

Better luck to me next time!

yeah i would feel bad to my open diff ,FWD,all motor maxima is all over your times up to the 1/8 mile.

60ft 1.837
330ft 5.304
1/8 8.172
mph 87.13
1000ft 10.633
1/4 12.722
MPH 108.33

time above is with stock cams and ECU ,meaning stock timing fuel and rev limit.

I guess the VQ35DE doesnt have turbo lag. and that heavy AWD is a liability if you are looking for better times and your tired of being upset move yourself into a RWD car with a VQ .

Great example about both track conditions and driver! Those are great results and you would have owned me through the 1/8 mile! That Maxima has some *****! How much power are you putting down? Were you on drags or slicks?

I thought I logged in to evolutionm.net for a moment but no, I am on my350z.com - strange.

Anywho, the first week or two of the year always has lame track conditions regardless of what the weather is like. 39 degrees isn't exactly sweet when it comes to traction either.

03 EVO, its in his sig!

Im gonna have to agree with Alberto on your times too. But seeing as how your PB is only an 11.7, I guess you werent that far off. With a trap speed of 118 in an EVO though, I would expect it to be easy 11's. Do you full throttle shift?

Sometimes people forget to update their sigs.

Poor baby, Spinning his way to a 1.8 60ft at 118mph AWD people complain about the weirdest things.

Thanks. I assumed that you drove a 350Z since this is a 350Z forum.

It's in my sig, and it's accurate. Big jump from a 350Z to an EVO, Small jump from a 350Z to a G35.
