Question

So did you try a couple of runs with VDC ON and OFF? What were the results?

I believe it all goes back to the driver.

If you can control wheel spin then it doesn't matter, leave it on. But, a little wheel spin isn't necesarrily a bad thing at the strip. Complete power cut is a bad thing, though.

Because an auto tranny eliminates wheelspin?

VDC off = ability to run quicker ET's

You need a small amount of wheelspin when dragging....dead hook means your leaving some on the table

Plus whe the TCS kicks in its like hitting a brick wall....power cut is very immediate and forceful

I just recently purchased a 2006 Touring model a few weeks ago and last night was really the first time I "got on it."

I am talking about just straight-line speed from light to light. When going into 2nd the car felt like it hit a brick wall and slowed down considerably. I am assuming that this is because of the the VDC kicking in. Am I right? So I have to turn it off everytime I want to "drag race" and then turn it back on for the corners?

Is there anything I can do to correct this? Tires?
