Plain stupid . . . doing a burnout on a public highway with no guardrails and loses control, killing six spectators and injuring 18 more.

Wow, thats sad to hear. In the article it said they do this kind of parade every year. Was it a smart thing, No. I believe the driver of the car was trying to carry a burnout much farther then he should have. It also said that usually cars only do durnouts for about 50 feet. Well he certainly went more then 50 feet.
I feel bad for the people because that really sucks. But in my own opinion, and im sorry if this offends anyone and im not trying to start a whos right and wrong, like I said im just giving my opinion. I dont feel that bad, its common sense why racetracks have guard rails. I dont care how controlled a demo is something can always go wrong. Personally I would never stand on the side of a road with a car doing that. Its the same as rally racing, I dont feel sorry for the people who get hit doing that either. You shouldnt stand on the side of a road or racetrack. Just my two cents on it though.

Jeeebus either the throttle stuck or the guy just was an idiot at that moment
Being that he is a pro....I am leaning towards mechanical malfunction cause a short burnout would have been over and done with but he stayed in it or the throttle stuck WOT and he lost control once he broke traction
