Default Dash lights up like a christmas tree??

I wasn't sure were to post this so if it's in the wrong place, sorry ahead of time.. Does anyone else's dash light up across the bottom(ABS,Brake,Slip, and a few others) when burn outs or drifting is done with your car? I've been doing this for 16yrs but it has been in older camaros, mustangs, novas and most of them didn't have half the warning lights(or electronics) this thing does so I wasn't sure if this is normal. Everything resets when I turn the car off then back on. This might seem like a simple question so if you need to be a smart*** go ahead I don't mind but can someone give me a real answer also. Thanks

VDC, SLIP, ABS, BRAKE lights are pretty normal while thrashing your car around. Its trying to correct your "mistakes". Essentially...The Z thinks your are about to have a wreck

I have had the vdc and the slip light go off but i have not had my brake light go on....They do reset once you turn your car off. If you are into brake stands search the board on how to disconnect your abs sensor.

Thanks for the answers . I just wanted to make sure nothing was wrong with the sensors or something. Is there anything other then crashing(haha) that you need to worry about(electronically) doing burnouts, donuts, drifting?? Like maybe needing to disconnect a sensor or reprogram something? Thanks again for the help.

In order to do a proper burnout at the track, you have to pull your brake fuse. By pressing the brake and accelerator at the same time, the CPU thinks you're going to crash and cuts the throttle by 50%. Once you pull the fuse, the dash lights will all come on as soon as the depress the brake peddle, but atleast you'll be able to do a burn out. That'll also remind you to put that fuse back in before you leave the track.

I found a line brake kit at autopartswarehouse.com so you don't have to do that but thanks for the idea.

It happened to me once after I got my car dynoed. After I pulled it off the rack and restarted it all my lights came on. I turned to car off for a few minutes and the problem went away.
