Whats your legal view on this?
MRC,

Are you alleging that someone has breached security of your MY350Z account? If so, by virtue of prior posts by your wife, dog, or cat, one of those individuals is impersonating an officer. I presume neither your cat nor dog can type, therefore it is your wife. Are you going to charge her for the violation? If your security has been breached, what have you done to remedy the situation? I trust change your password but, of course, if we looked at that, it would be the same password. Did you see what IP hacked your log on? Of course not. Your lame excuses will not work here and, certainly, won't work with BPD IA either.

As an aside, I noticed that you went on a mass, post-deleting extravaganza. I already have over 100 pages of your posts, your threats, and admissions of racing on public roads. In a week's time, so may the BPD if Phil actually makes me write them a letter and annex thereto the proofs. At that time, you will also know my identity. Of course, if you would like to know it now, feel free to PM me.

As for the alleged threat of retaliation from a real or perceived organized crime affilation, please kindly attach same to your next post. I would love to see that which you allege. If you do not attach it, I smell false swearing. Do I need to advise you as to the penalties associated with false swearing? That could cost you your badge, officer.

As for the rest of you; real lawyer, real degree, real (very successful) office in Monmouth County, NJ. Former Acting Municipal Prosecutor; past, present and future gear head. Former HKS, Greddy, etc. subdealer ( I had an affiliation with Sarizer Motors ). The only difference between MRC and I - I did the performance shop thing before I went to law school and he is doing it after he chose a profession. Just because I have the degree does not mean I always have to "lawyer it up" when I speak/type. If I did, MRC would still be looking up the words I should have used in post #19. Since 1986, I have made hundreds of passes at E-town with any of my prior and/or present cars: a heavily modded 72 Super Beetle, a heavily modded 1989 Supra Turbo, a lightly Modded 87 GTI 16V, a lightly modded 1994 Corvette, a heavily modded 1993 Mustang Cobra (my brother's car), a stock 2000 GS 400 and my present car, a 2007 Corvette Z51. I have had my fair share of "grudge matches" throughout the years whether it be drag racing, on the rugby pitch, or at car stereo competitions. Settle the discrepancy - I always have by taking on the challenge and then buying the guy a beer thereafter. I find the non-threatening aspects of the communications to be as hysterical as the rest of you.

Funny thing though - this looks like a shop owner picking on a consumer. It also looks like a cop abusing his power to intimidate a civilian. Not only is this bad business (for your shop and/or your police job) but maybe you should "pick on someone your own size" (no pun intended - I hear that under all that fat, you're ripped).

Phil and I have been friends for nearly 20 years. His fee for me pointing out the stupidity of MRC's threats, free. The fun I am having at MRC's expense, priceless.

Why don't the two of you just settle it at the track and shake hands thereafter? After reading 100's of pages of this stuff, the two of you might actually get along - you are both very similar.

Philtys lawyer, just have your friend/client show up and settle the grudge at the track. There are alot of Internet tough guys on here and Philthy seems to be one of them, Julian also has his moments online too. You should show up with him since you say you have a vast knowledge in cars. This way there will be plenty of witness's to see who wins the race.

Phil said this in person to me..Prove he did not..My word against his..

Actually quite the opposite..A consumer picking on a shop owner costing him countless hours of lost time and possible lost sales. This may result in some sort of civil liability claim against both yourself and Phil (your boy)..Once again nothing to do with my law enforcement professior.

Once again, one profession has nothing to do with the other..Nor was I trying to intimidate Phil or anyone, I was simply helping Phil make an educated decision, on the legal and physical ramifications of him threatening and assaulting another person, especially when the other person happens to be a L.E.O. Advise your "CLient/BOY" that he would be fighting a battle he would loose...

You hurt my feelings..Perhaps I will obtain your IP address from the moderators and sue you for public slander and harassment..

So your openly admitting to harassing me for fun, perhaps I shall report you to the NJ bar association and get your liscense to practice cracker jack law revoked...

I have no problem with that if Phil will finally show me some respect on the board for once and post a public appology when I win Friday..

Stop the drama and just race. Seriously, I dont think anyone will feel bad if either you or Philthy loose. You guys both have nice setups. Phil might have a little more power, but you have more racing experience so it's probably a toss up in my book. May the best man win!

I just want to say, Julian if you are not 100% sure about the legal things you are posting in retort to the 'lawyer' and he turns out to be one, you are just going to antagonize him and possibly make the situation worse...

Can't wait to see the results, wish I could take off work to watch this!

+1 Especially the part about messing with someone's means of making a living or threatening to.

Exactly, to much talking no action. In the end, nobody will sue anyone. Like Sharif said, race and that's it. Good luck!

i think the power comparison is kinda bad when talking about a shop owner.. because as you know being a shop owner.. you can add more power.. and do more tuning whenever you feel like it.. today he could be less than Phil.. tommorow he could be more. Also being a shop owner you have the ability to run your car pretty much close to blowing up because you have the resources.. being a regular guy with a daily driver.. you are less reluctant to compete in that aspect
