Well my clutch pedal would misbehave everytime I launched hard, street or track. Duplicated it for my Nissan dealership and they called Nissan's tech line... I'm assuming NNA told them where to go from there.

one more question on the subject. how did u go about telling them that nissan corporate already knows about the problem? did u say someone u know had the same problem or what? how did u in theory find out that nissan knows about it, i don't really want to direct them to the website cause they could prolly see that i drag race my car

btw, i managed to reproduce this on the street last night, so i could show the dealer when i take it there

All of you who have the clutch slave cylinder problem, I am here to tell you one thing. Once you fix it, you will love the car afterwards. The clutch won't be as soft, plus you can go through the gears much faster.

I wish we had a good track in southern california as well. I'm just waiting until the temps come down, then i'm going to head out to fomoso raceway to break some records as well.

I just bought mine. I had a 05 and this 07 is the same feeling as mine 05. I drag raced this weekend and no problems.

When it's stock it doesn't feel much differen't. When you add tp's, exhaust, y-pipe and a intake it's a completely different car.

I have my nismo cat back on it. I was only reffering to the clutch. The car is much much better than my05. The engine is way more refined. This one trapped 103+ each run.(101 outside temp).. my 05 would only do 101 on a great day and with every na mod made. I want to get out to the track some more before I add my 07 to the drag list.

Just stated I visited an Nissan enthusiast forum and found mention of this problem by other members who've had Nissan work on a possible fix. After I duplicated the problem and they called the tech line I got new parts, yay. Hopefully the problem is truly fixed, it's annoying.

Bingo. Annoying isn't it? I got in the habit of leaving the line at 2500-3000 rpm. Totally retarded, I was doing that with my FWD S/C tC. Jeezus.

i havent had too much trouble with the launch here recently but shifting between second and third and sometimes to 4th is really mushy. It makes it suck to try to drive fast because the clutch just wont grab. Ive driven other year Zs and they grabbed much harder. As fun as it is to drive, im sure my 07 would be a helluva lot more fun with a clutch that just grabbed harder.

By the way I just took mine in for the 3750 oil change and the techs mentioned no knowledge of the problem and no TSBs or recalls yet.

So the pedal literally is on floor and you have to pull it up by hand? car runs fine afterwards? I can see my pedal move down about an inch or so when I floor it while holding a gear at 3k+ rpm. But it doesnt go all the way down by itself.

Also 2nd and 3rd gear never seem to engage fast enough when really pushing the car. I am a really quick shifter and find myself having to slow my shift down for this car. I dont know how durable these trannys are. My bmw trannys are all smoother and take lots of abuse. Also why are these 07 trannys so dang whiny in first gear!

We do contribute, but there is a thing called reality check...am not saying it cant be done...you have 1 of those "with me or against me" complexes ....whats so wrong taking constructive criticism...its all gotta be about hate if we dont think the HR can perform miracles with you 07 owners

More miles = more power? Give people some time to loosen up the motors, and we'll see some quicker times.
