Oh well, I'll let VeeTec do it, I couldn't hold out and leave my car stock.
I'm having issues with wheel hop when trying to launch at anything over 2500rpms. I wasn't able to get any times due to lightning near by...they would not turn on the trees. I did get in 7-8 runs though to a get a feel for the car and embarass some mustangs, hondas and a one SRT-8 charger with a bad driver.

i wouldn't say hate. more of annoyed. to a lot of older members, they've seen / heard these questions asked before. many many times before. it really gets tiring when you see a new post every few days about the same topic.

All I'm saying is that I "believe" it is possible for a 07 to run high 12's with BASIC bolt-ons(non F/I) and either DR or slicks, nothing more.

Eeeeh, I'd have to say no. Stock bridgestones won't allow for a good enough 60' IMO.

Come on 07 owners, let's make believers out of the new HR motor!

Geeze, everyone is so negative around here@!
Not negative... just realistic. Those who ran 13.3 & 13.6, if I recall, didn't do it in mild to hot air; they ran in cool weather, low da's. The only way you'll reach mid to low 13's on the HR is if its a perfectly cool day, with great track preperation, very low DA's, and excellent driving.

I'm sure a full-bolt on 07 350Z with DR's, excellent driving AND excellent DR's will hit 12's... in winter/fall AND when more mods become available.

Will it be common?
No.

He ran in a track where the best times have been achieved by many different cars. The DA's are VERY low, and it's hard to find a better track than those in the east coast.

Conditions & preperation couldn't get any better. So the only way 12's would be possible on a bone stock Z would be if he hit a 1.5 60ft on the same excellent conditions & perfect driving...

It's not gonna happen.

PS. Drag radials is a better mod than a handfun of NA mods. And a car on drags is not considered stock anymore.

Somehow I find it hard to believe a 1.6-1.7 60ft in VeeTec's hands wouldn't get him a high 12.

The OP did not indicate any mods other than DR's.

I say it can be done and will. Anyone with track time and some better tires will do it. It is just going to take time to get more 07 out to the track. You have to look at the few cars that you are basing you claims on. What the few that have posted time. We will see soon.
