All I can say is this...
Winning trophys for being consistant in a bracket race is 100% completely different than being a 'great' driver. While you are a good 'drag racer' I wouldn't be so quick to proclaim you are a great driver.
Most people would consider me to be a pretty decent driver and I wouldn't make it past the 2nd or 3rd round of bracket races simply because I botch runs. I believe Veetec has stated something similar in the past.
In other words.... You can have 100 trophys for being consistant and someone like Veetec could still run a better time in the same exact car.
I believe we were discussing the best of the best times in this thread so bracket racing isn't exactly 100% relavant.

lol you guys are hilarious, i enjoyed this whole thread and even when you guys busted in the mustang forums. if this clears things up a lil, i "know" stock for stock the 07+ 350z is faster. mod for mod would go to the GT, and F/I for F/I you can just throw that one in the air because they're too many variables. i am not biased whatsoever, i dont really care who is faster then me i just love my car. as matter fact when i had my rx-8 i wanted a 350z or a GT, the only reason i picked the GT was because it modded better and i love the v8 rumble. and oh yeah the fastest recorded stock s197 was 13.2 but i "think" (im not sure) that was only one guy, im pretty sure you guys had a handful of guys who did that time.
