I went to one of the slower tracks tonight...
so what exactly is wrong with the slave cylinder, whats the reason it makes the padal drop? tonight i launched at about 4500 and that never happened to me , is it a cooling issue fluid or something?
I think a 12 second stock slip is possible in a HR car up here in the northeast. Not because our tracks are better but the DA advantage. The power to weight ratio seems about right to me. Its gonna take a solid pass and great conditions but I think its possible. If the slave is up to it is another story. Does keeping the fluid fresh help out at all?
I popped the cap off of the slave cylinder the other day, and noticed the fluid was down a little. I added fluid, then pumped the clutch for about 30 seconds, before placing the cap back on. I noticed a lot of dark matter coming up in the fluid, didn't look good.
After that, I noticed much improved clutch response, especially during a couple of hard launches. I may try it again at the track, and see what happens.
Question about how you launch: You said you drop at 4k RPM. Does that mean you take your foot of the clutch pedal immediately as it reaches 4K rpms, or do you do it gradually? Also do you stomp on the gas right after you release the clutch pedal?
no he dosent dump the clutch or else he would just spin. it is a slip of the clutch as you give it more gas.(just what i am thinking he does)
I wish someone had a good video of it in action...
Here is the best example I have ...

This has a nice description that has helped me out.
