Default finally took my z to the track

well, I've been to the track before about 2 years ago but never got too into it because I just had a slower car. but now I'm planning on going more often. here's a pic of one of my better times on the track. also my car is an 06 5A/T, all stock, and this was on a 1/8 mile track. I know my reaction time kinda sucked but I'm working on it. tell me what you think. also my car's stats are on the right, under the 350, the other car (copp) was a 90's corvette

Reaction time doesn't really matter unless you're bracket racing. Try getting that 60' down and you'll see better times. What was the weather like?

weather was ok, about mid 80's. the track was a little slick cause they kept spraying the beginning of the track with water, so everytime I launched I would spin tires a lot more than usual and even chirp tires in 2nd. didn't even know you could do that in an automatic but I guess you can. lol

BTW if you circle your car on the time slip I do not have to figure out which car is yours. That said ricer arithmetic gives you:

Your 1/4 Mile ET is 14.79 seconds computed from your vehicle 1/8th ET of 9.47 seconds.
Your 1/4 Mile MPH is 93.94 MPH computed from your vehicle 1/8th MPH of 75.76 MPH.

Assume that the dragstrip is 660 feet. So 1/4 mile ET (1,320 feet) is impossible.

yep, not to mention some cars speed hit their powerband once they get far enough down the track, and others might slow down a little, and some may even keep the same pace. so really the only way to get a good time is to actually do a 1/4 mile run. just from seeing other z's run at other drag strips, I'd say they stay between 13-15 on the 1/4 if it's stock.
