Default 13.79 @ 101, 2.0 60ft

This run was done and finished back in october, i have a 5AT 03 350z, with basic bolt on mods, injen intake, and injen exhuast,i didnt have my test pipes yet, yes i do have slips will post them VERY soon, just moved into a new apt. and i cant find certian boxes and dont have the time to look right now..........I also ran at English town Raceway park for the Street wars 2003 and place 4th in the entire show, i dailed in at 14.0 and worked those breaks, i lost due to my anticipation which made me pull a -.020 red light.....

So, Anyone wanna gimme ideas what i should do next MOD wise....

Thanks,
Edubbzzz AKA JealouZ

I wonder what will mine run with a stillen true dual exhaust? Oh yes I won a couple of races my first time at the track. Drag racing autos are the best!

with slicks and lightweight rims, that sounds kosher. the injen exhaust and intake is probably netting you anywhere from 8-12 rwhp... with the test pipes and cool weather you should net 13.5 - 13.6. Good job!

great, how about bringing it to the drag strip out in long island when the weather warms up? I wanna see some smoky burnout action on those slicks.

What was your 60ft, 1/8 et and speed??? Or you could just post a slip 116mph trap on a 150 shot..yeah ok...

That sparkly residue is the fiberglass still coming out-the exhaust is still breaking in. Whats weird is that it did that for like 1 month after I got it around 2500 miles. I LOVE the sound of the test-pipes and the SES. Its loud as hell WOT but sounds very nice. I like hitting it down the road and having everybody hearing me within a 2 block radius. As far as daily driving goes its not bad with the right throttle application....when i put the test-pipes on the exhaust began shooting out more fiberglass like when I got it, and if you hit it alot, you WILL get black on you rrear bumper by your tips just to let you know. Also if your just sitting still and zing it to fuel-cut it will pop loudly and shoot flames everytime. Also happens when racing and you tap or hit the fue-cut.

Yep, love the injen with the Helix test pipes, cant get enough of that sound......Kinda like a exotic with a lil import sound to it....By the way hey mr99accord PM me i got some questions about your N20 setup, maybe we can get on the horn.......I just ordered the UR pulley's and new wheels, plus im looking to do a N20 setup, but im still skeptical.......

I'm hoping to run low 13's with my car N/A, im going to do it and prove to everyone the Z has more potential then they think, i mena so far im running 13.7 @ 101 with less mods then i have now, and that was with everything in the car JACK,SPARE,TOOLS, AND my car is AUTO, you had to see some people at the track they couldn't believe it............

Well, nest track date FEB 29, ill be going to opening day at RACEWAY PARK, NJ....I'll keep you guys updated........

Default BEEN AWHILE!!

Since that last post i got rid of the injen exhaust and installed the borla i like the sound of the borla, its alot calmer and i needed it to be that way!!! Well, the car has had its best run since then at RACEWAY, now the car pulls 12.81 at 106.43 with a 1.801 60ft, thats with the N20 setup and nothing else but drag radials... Soon the ecu and plenum setup go in along with gears and a line lock im looking to bump up the shot from a 75 to a 150 looking to pulle very low 12's maybe high 11 if i pray......Well we will have to wait and see!!!!

Wish me luck!!

do you race the car in manu-matic mode or do you leave in drive?

If you shift it, what rpm do you shift at in each gear?

NOPE, i just shift as high as possible without hit'n the limiter! LIMITER + N20 = KABOOM, so ya gotta be careful if you running n20.......and if you run it and hit the limiter its going to kill your time....Oh and dont take your foot off the gas, keep that **** planted!!
