My personal best was a 15.003 at 94mph, but I'm proud of that run because I was fingering bozo the clown, getting roadhead HIV, and singing Ricky Martin all at once.

I got 14.7 at 121 mph but I wasnt stock...
I had chrome tips on my exhaust ( strauss ) , I think that what gave me a high top speed...

Man, that's just beginners luck. I bet you didn't even heel-and-toe while shifting.

Hey....since this is already off topic....

Checked out your cardomain pages - nice car. Congrats on winning the street class at Island. It's very rare for me to run across someone on the 'Net that knows where Island is. I T&T there a lot but have never raced - still working on getting a consistent combo. I think I have it down this season - it's trapping consistently anyway.

Just thot I'd say hello from North Jersey. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the A55MNKY.

Hey Jimmy,

Thanks for the kind words. Yeah I only recently found where the hell Island is myself... it's not exactly as popular as ETown. But I like it cause I can get 30-40 runs in on any given test & tune night. I live in Paramus, btw. So it's not exactly close.

Anyhow, I really didn't go to try and compete. I just wanted to test & tune but it rained Friday and Saturday they only had this bracket racing, so I figured what the hell, might as well get 2-3 timeslips before I get eliminated. My car is NOT consistent, I was just practicing various launches, etc... most of my opponents put the hurt on themselves somehow =)

Anyway, see ya around.

PS: Nice basement =P

Popularity isn't necessarily a good thing. Sunday T&Ts are bad, but the Wed or Friday T&Ts are good. Can run as many times as you want.

I kept the basement link up for my buds at doityourself.com. Helpful people there - couldn't have pulled that remodel off without them. Took me all of the 2003 racing season to finish that project. This year I've been able to spend more time wrenching on the car and it's starting to show at the track.

I'll probably see you one of these Friday nights.

Jim
